The rooftop is a 3,000 square foot terrace and it comfortably takes 100 to 150 people. That covers a departmental training session, a dealer or distributor meet, an annual team gathering, or a college or association programme. It can be booked privately, so the terrace belongs to your session for the day rather than being a partitioned corner of a working restaurant.
For a small working session of fifteen or twenty, the same terrace is laid out completely differently — one cluster of tables, the screen at one end, and the rest of the floor left empty. Because the space is not partitioned, you are not paying for a fixed room sized to somebody else's assumption about how many people you have.
The terrace is honest about what it is: a rooftop with a lake view, not a conference suite. Sessions that run in the morning or the late afternoon get the best of it.

A screen to project onto, so you are not aiming at a wall or a bedsheet.

A sound system for a speaker addressing the room, and for audio in your material.

Complimentary WiFi at the hotel.
The equipment is the hotel's own and it is on site: a projector, a screen and a sound system, so nothing has to be hired in on the day. Tea and food come from our own kitchen in the building rather than from an outside caterer.

Guests travelling in for your event can stay at the hotel. We have 19 rooms, all air-conditioned, with free WiFi and free outside parking.

Hotel Rani Palace is 200 metres from Fateh Sagar Lake — a five-minute walk. City Palace is 1.5 km away and Udaipur railway station is 4 km. There is free outside parking for guests, and a lift to the upper floors, so older family members and anyone carrying decorations or equipment do not have to manage the stairs.
Pure vegetarian kitchen
Our kitchen is 100% pure vegetarian. We serve Indian, Rajasthani, Chinese and Continental dishes, and the same kitchen that serves the hotel restaurant caters events on the rooftop. For families and gatherings that require a strictly vegetarian kitchen, this is not an accommodation we make on request — it is the only way we cook.
